Pewaukee had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Germantown Warhawks 85-31 on Saturday. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 games by 23 points or more this season.

Germantown's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madeline Jakusz, who posted four points and ten boards. Jakusz is becoming a predictor of Germantown's success: when she posts at least ten rebounds the team is 9-3 (and 6-8 when she doesn't). Another player making a difference was Jaycee Mani, who put up nine points.

The victory (which was Pewaukee's 11th in a row) raised their record to 23-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38.1 points. As for Germantown, their loss dropped their record down to 15-11.

As of now, neither Pewaukee nor Germantown have any future games scheduled.
