Football Game Preview: Everett Alvarez Eagles vs. King City Mustangs + How To Watch

The Everett Alvarez Eagles will face off against the King City Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a five-game winning streak alive.

On Friday, Everett Alvarez didn't have too much trouble with Pacific Grove as they won 24-7.

Roman Garcia produced another solid performance rushing for 41 yards and one TD, while also throwing for 83 yards and one touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Everett Alvarez was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 249 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Everett Alvarez didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Jaylen Ward.

Meanwhile, King City made easy work of Soledad on Friday and carried off a 28-6 victory. Considering the Mustangs have won three contests by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

King City's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Everett Alvarez, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 5-1.
