Basketball Recap: Guilford Park's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Guilford Park can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They came out on top against the River Hill Hawks by a score of 72-65. The Panther's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

River Hill lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Nicholas Kogut, who went 8 for 15 on his way to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Rooths, who went 5 of 10 en route to 12 points.

Guilford Park's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for River Hill, they dropped their record down to 5-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Guilford Park has already played their next contest (against Hammond), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. River Hill has already played their next game, a 69-55 loss against Mt. Hebron on the 27th.
