Basketball Recap: St. Croix Lutheran Now 7-1 over Last Eight Games

On Friday, the St. Croix Lutheran Crusaders earned a 47-40 win over the Minneapolis Southwest Lakers.

St. Croix Lutheran has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points over those games. As for Minneapolis Southwest, they dropped their record down to 8-15 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Croix Lutheran will face off against St. Croix Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Minneapolis Southwest, they will square off against Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Minneapolis Southwest is facing Roosevelt at the right time seeing as Roosevelt is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
