Basketball Recap: Waukesha South Takes a Loss

Waukesha South lost against Kettle Moraine back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Waukesha South Blackshirts took a 65-51 bruising from the Kettle Moraine Lasers. While losing is never fun, the Blackshirts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 219th in Wisconsin, while the Lasers are ranked third in Wisconsin).

Waukesha South has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season. The victory keeps them at an undefeated 24-0.

Coming up, Waukesha South will challenge Verona at 7:00 p.m. on March 7th. Kettle Moraine does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
