It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Summit Christian Academy had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They blew past the Ruskin Golden Eagles 76-55. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Leading Summit Christian Academy to victory were Max Rieger and Mike Thomas III. Rieger shot 58% from the field on his way to 32 points and four steals, while Thomas III dropped a double-double with 20 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Rieger has scored at least a third of Summit Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Grady Ellerman, who posted eight points.

Summit Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points over those games. Ruskin has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Summit Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 45-32 victory against Grandview on the 7th. Ruskin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
