Basketball Recap: Reeds Spring Gets the Win

While Reeds Spring didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They secured a 66-61 W over the Ash Grove Pirates on Monday. For the Wolves, this counts as revenge for the 44-40 win the Pirates walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.

Reeds Spring has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Ash Grove, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Reeds Spring will welcome Strafford at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th. As for Ash Grove, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lockwood at 7:30 p.m. on January 27th.
