Baseball Recap: Norwich Comes Up Short

Norwich was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 27th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-3 to the Windsor Central Black Knights. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Black Knights this season, with their most recent loss being a 12-3 defeat on Wednesday.

Norwich saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Downey, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Norwich's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Windsor Central, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2-1.

Looking ahead, Norwich will head out to challenge Johnson City at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Wildcats have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Windsor Central, they will face off against Binghamton at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.
