Basketball Game Preview: Arapahoe Warriors vs. Southern Valley Eagles

Arapahoe hasn't had much luck against Southern Valley recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. Having just played yesterday, the Arapahoe Warriors will get right back to it and host the Southern Valley Eagles at 3:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Arapahoe is headed into Saturday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They were outmatched by Medicine Valley and fell 64-37.

Meanwhile, Southern Valley suffered their biggest defeat since December 10, 2024 on Thursday. They were beaten by Bertrand 60-33. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-11.

Southern Valley's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Arapahoe, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

Arapahoe lost to Southern Valley at home by a decisive 52-33 margin in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Thankfully for Arapahoe, Kamden Bose (who dropped a double-double on 27 points and ten boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
