Natomas and Rio Linda are an even 3-3 against one another since December of 2017, but likely not for long. The Nighthawks will be playing at home against the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Natomas' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Natomas' defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past Cordova 1-0. The win was some much needed relief for Natomas as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Rio Linda was forced to settle for a draw. They and Nevada Union finished up their match with a 1-1 draw on Monday.

Rio Linda's goal came courtesy of Inmer Izaguirre, who's now up to four this season.

With that draw, Rio Linda's record moves to 2-5-1. As for Natomas, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-1.
