Soccer Game Preview: O'Dea vs. Roosevelt

The O'Dea Fighting Irish will head out on the road to challenge the Roosevelt Roughriders at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Last Wednesday, O'Dea and Bishop Blanchet finished up their game with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to Lincoln.

With that draw, O'Dea's record moves to 3-5-3. As for Roosevelt, they now have a losing record of 5-6-2.

O'Dea beat Roosevelt 4-2 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Fighting Irish since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
