Soccer Recap: Newington Takes a Loss

Newington lost against Middletown back in September of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Nor'easters fell just short of the Blue Dragons by a score of 2-1.

Newington's goal came courtesy of Caiden Crichlow, who's now up to seven this season.

Newington's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2-2. As for Middletown, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Newington is set to square off against their familiar foe Wethersfield at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Middletown will take on rival New Britain at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
