Niwot won the last time they faced Boulder, and Jasper Helgans did his part to make sure it happened again. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers on Tuesday for which the team can thank Helgans, who had two aces and one block. Helgans is also crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 16 every time he's taken the court this season.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Niwot took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-12, 25-12.

Niwot is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Boulder, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Niwot wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Arvada West on the 17th. As for Boulder, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Greeley Central on the 17th.
