Soccer Recap: Booker T. Washington Magnet Takes a Loss

Booker T. Washington Magnet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against the Marbury Bulldogs, falling 11-2. While losing is never fun, Booker T. Washington Magnet can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 196th, while Marbury are ranked 50th).

Jordan Powell and Mwaita Nkuchwayo scored both of Booker T. Washington Magnet's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Booker T. Washington Magnet's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Marbury, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-1.

Coming up, Booker T. Washington Magnet will face off against Demopolis at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marbury will be paying especially close attention to the Yellow Jackets' match: after the Yellow Jackets faces off against the Tigers, they'll take on Marbury again at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
