Perkins had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They skirted past the Indian Hill Braves 4-3. The win was nothing new for the Pirates as they're now sitting on six straight.

Perkins' victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Blake Parker, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Perkins pushed their record up to 23-9 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Indian Hill, they moved to 21-9 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Perkins wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Lake Catholic on the 15th. Indian Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
