Edgewood strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Fort Atkinson Blackhawks. The Crusaders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Blackhawks, too.

Edgewood pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Fort Atkinson, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Edgewood will venture away from home to challenge Portage at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fort Atkinson, they will square off against Mount Horeb at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Blackhawks are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
