Baseball Recap: Crosspoint Christian Comes Up Short

If Crosspoint Christian was riding high fresh off their 11-1 takedown of Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Crosspoint Christian fell 7-4 to the Westwood Baptist Academy Eagles on Thursday. Crosspoint Christian has struggled against Westwood Baptist Academy recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Crosspoint Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gus Bradley, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Crosspoint Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Westwood Baptist Academy, the win was the fourth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Crosspoint Christian will challenge Non Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
