Maplesville will bounce into Saturday's contest after beating Marion, who they had gone 1-7 against in their eight prior meetings. Maplesville skirted past Marion 49-46. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Red Devils have posted since February 5, 2024.

Maplesville's win on Monday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nehemiah Mccary, who dropped a triple-double on 17 points, 16 boards, and ten blocks. Mccary is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Jakobe Nix, who posted 12 points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Verbena was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 58-54 to Autauga Academy.
