Basketball Recap: Halls Comes Up Short

Halls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Seymour Eagles, falling 53-31. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 294th, while the Eagles are ranked 99th).

Halls' loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Seymour, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Halls and Northview Academy will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Seymour, they will welcome Gatlinburg-Pittman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
