Basketball Game Preview: Gilbert Indians vs. Horse Creek Academy Stallions

The Gilbert Indians just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Horse Creek Academy Stallions at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Gilbert has now lost 11 straight dating back to last season, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 17.

Gilbert lost 71-45 to Silver Bluff on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Horse Creek Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They secured an 83-77 W over Lakeside on Tuesday.

Gilbert's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Horse Creek Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

Gilbert beat Horse Creek Academy 67-55 when the teams last played back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
