Baseball Recap: Deming Wins High-Profile Matchup Against Alamogordo

Deming faced Alamogordo in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Deming put the hurt on Alamogordo with a sharp 7-1 victory. While the Wildcats didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Deming saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Allison, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave Allison a new career-high.
