The Liberty Christian Prep Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 12th straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 88-44 loss at the hands of North Kissimmee Christian. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Liberty Christian Prep in their matchups with North Kissimmee Christian: they've now lost five in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Kissimmee Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Anthony Morales, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Izaiah Noel, who scored 20 points along with five steals and two blocks.

Liberty Christian Prep bumped their record down to 1-13 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for North Kissimmee Christian, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberty Christian Prep's road trip will continue as they head out to face Family Christian Academy at 8:30 p.m. on January 22nd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Family Christian Academy is ranked 769th, while Liberty Christian Prep is ranked 789th). As for North Kissimmee Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against West Melbourne Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. West Melbourne Christian Academy is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
