Volleyball Recap: Nerinx Hall Takes a Loss

Nerinx Hall's tournament run continued when they took on Effingham on Saturday. The Markers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hearts. The Markers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Josie LaRose paced Nerinx Hall's offense, picking up six kills. LaRose got some help from Alaina Collins and her 11 assists.

Nerinx Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Effingham, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Nerinx Hall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Ursuline Academy on the 15th. As for Effingham, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Teutopolis on the 15th.
