Mogadore scaled the state rankings by moving to 167 from 215 this week, the biggest jump in Portage Trail - County. The Wildcats were able to move up by beating South Range 35-28.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Mogadore beat the Raiders 35-28. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Garfield's Chase Chapman and Fred Maxey have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Chapman has thrown for 1,824 yards this season, while Maxey has 38 catches for 679 yards. Woodridge's Dalevon Davidson leads the league in rushing yards with 1,512.
The Wildcats led Portage Trail - County in scoring this week by notching 35 points on South Range.
