Basketball Game Preview: Sharpstown Apollos vs. Austin Mustangs

Sharpstown and Austin are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2021, but not for long. The Sharpstown Apollos will challenge the Austin Mustangs at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. Sharpstown is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Sharpstown is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took a 61-43 bruising from Westbury on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Austin slipped by Houston Math Science & Tech 47-46 on Tuesday.

The win got Austin back to even at 5-5. As for Sharpstown, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Sharpstown came up short against Austin in their previous meeting back in February, falling 53-42. Can Sharpstown avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
