Soccer Game Preview: Northridge vs. Chicago Christian

Northridge will venture away from home to face off against Chicago Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northridge knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Chicago Christian likes a good challenge.

Chicago Christian better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Northridge's game on Thursday is any indication, that's when Northridge really gets things going. The Knights' defense stepped up to hand Marian Central Catholic a 6-0 shutout. It was an even better day for Keller Karnes as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last contest, Chicago Christian made sure to put some goals up on the board against Westmont on Saturday. They blew past the Sentinels 8-0.

Chicago Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 35 goals over those eight matches. As for Northridge, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.
