Football Recap: Spring Creek Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Spring Creek had lost six straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-8 to make it seven. They took a blow against the Princeton Bulldogs, falling 61-0. The Gators lost against the Bulldogs in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 61-24 score last time.

As for Princeton, they now have a winning record of 4-3. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Teo McPhatter produced another solid performance rushing for 163 yards and four scores on only ten carries, while also throwing for three yards and one TD. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his tenth straight game with at least 109 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Spring Creek will square off against Wallace-Rose Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Gators will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests. As for Princeton, they will face off against Goldsboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 45.86 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
