Preview: White Plains Tigers vs. Ketcham Indians
The White Plains Tigers will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Ketcham Indians at 5:00 p.m. on December 22nd. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Monday, White Plains beat New Rochelle 45-37.
White Plains' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sequoia Layne, who scored nine points along with 11 rebounds and six assists. Those six assists set a new season-high mark for her. Ineivi Plata was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, even though North Rockland scored an imposing 64 points last Tuesday, Ketcham still came out on top. Ketcham took their match against North Rockland 73-64.
White Plains now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Ketcham, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-0.
White Plains beat Ketcham 42-33 in their previous matchup back in March. Will White Plains repeat their success, or does Ketcham have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
