Baseball Recap: Indianapolis Shortridge Comes Up Short

Indianapolis Shortridge lost against Indianapolis Arsenal Technical back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Blue Devils might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 16-3 to the Titans, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Indianapolis Shortridge saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josh Sargeant, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. That stolen base marked the first that Sargeant has snagged this season.

Indianapolis Shortridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Indianapolis Arsenal Technical, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Indianapolis Shortridge has already played their next matchup, an 18-5 defeat against Purdue Polytechnic on the 17th. As for Indianapolis Arsenal Technical, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 15-3 win against Indianapolis Crispus Attucks on the 16th.
