Monessen's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past Beaver County Christian 67-46. The Greyhounds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 21 points or more this season.

Monessen now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Beaver County Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Monessen will welcome Serra Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Monessen is on a six-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), Serra Catholic a six-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Beaver County Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Summit Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
