Volleyball Recap: St. Mary Catholic's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

St. Mary Catholic had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Zephyrs also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Autumn Crowe paced St. Mary Catholic's offense, picking up eight kills. Crowe got some help from Sammi Weiss and her nine assists. Crowe was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

St. Mary Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Iola-Scandinavia, they moved to 8-11 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

St. Mary Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Wabeno/Laona on the 20th. As for Iola-Scandinavia, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Shawano Community on the 20th.
