 Germantown can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent  match  on Monday. They put the hurt on the Cordova Wolves with a sharp  11-2 victory. The  win was some much needed relief for Germantown as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
  Justin Nunez was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Jayden Atkins, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 On Cordova's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Undre Williams, who  went 1-for-2 with  an  RBI.
 Germantown's victory  ended  a  seven-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 12-12. As for Cordova, they have  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost four of their last five matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record  this season.
 Germantown will look to defend their home field  on Wednesday against Lakeland Preparatory at 6:15  p.m. As for Cordova, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Arlington at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday.
