Softball Recap: South Lenoir Picks Up 15th Straight Win at Home

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but South Lenoir had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They came out on top against the St. Pauls Bulldogs by a score of 7-3. Winning may never get old, but the Blue Devils sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

South Lenoir pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.1 runs over those games. As for St. Pauls, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-12.

South Lenoir wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 13-6 win against Southeast Alamance on the 9th. St. Pauls does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
