Football Recap: JAG Comes Up Short + How To Watch

JAG lost against Dothan back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Jaguars were beaten by the Wolves 56-24. The Jaguars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-12.

Aj Alexander was his usual excellent self, rushing for 148 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries, while also picking up 35 receiving yards for Dothan. Thanks to that big game, Alexander is now up to 15 rushing touchdowns on the season.

This is the second loss in a row for JAG and nudges their season record down to 1-6. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 28.0 points over those games. As for Dothan, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coming up, JAG will head out to challenge Enterprise at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dothan, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Smiths Station at 7:00 p.m. The Wolves will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.78 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
