Volleyball Recap: Yutan's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Yutan came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Thayer Central Titans, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chieftains of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2017.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-15, 25-12.

Addison Marsh was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 21 digs and two assists. That's the most digs she has posted over her last seven matchups.

Yutan's defeat ended a five-match streak of away wins and brought them to 20-7. As for Thayer Central, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 26-5.

Coming up, Yutan will face off against St. Paul at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Thayer Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
