Baseball Recap: Princeton Comes Up Short

Princeton fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Hightstown on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Rams by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 on Tuesday.

Princeton has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Hightstown, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-7-2.

Princeton has already played their next game (against West Windsor-Plainsboro South), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hightstown, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against South Brunswick at 4:00 p.m.
