The Naples Golden Eagles will square off against the St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Naples is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

On Thursday, Naples was able to grind out a solid win over Immokalee, taking the game 3-1. That's two games straight that Naples have won by exactly two goals.

Naples used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Immokalee. Santiago Mendez played for 15 minutes having averaged 8.3 this season and Josef Jo Jo Ramos got 70 vs. an average of 50. Ramos made the most of the opportunity, putting up one assist A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

Meanwhile, St. Thomas Aquinas' game on Thursday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They had just enough and edged out South Broward 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for St. Thomas Aquinas.

The victory got St. Thomas Aquinas back to even at 2-2. As for Naples, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Naples came out on top in a nail-biter against St. Thomas Aquinas when the teams last played back in November of 2023, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Golden Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
