Volleyball Recap: Atlas Preparatory School Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Atlas Preparatory School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 29th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the James Irwin Jaguars, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gryphons of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-13, 25-13.

Atlas Preparatory School's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for James Irwin, their win ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 2-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Atlas Preparatory School will square off against rival La Junta at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, James Irwin is set to face off against their familiar foe Colorado Springs Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
