Softball Recap: Coginchaug Regional Takes a Loss

The Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils lost 15-3 to the Maloney Spartans on Tuesday. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Taryn Adams was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Liz Gargano, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Coginchaug Regional's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Maloney, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Coginchaug Regional didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-3 win against Middletown on the 15th. As for Maloney, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-3 victory against Plainville on the 14th.
