On Friday Andruw Jacques pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. The performance also marked the most strikeouts (five) Jacques has had since back in April of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fifth in a row with less than two walks. This season, he has an ERA of 8.75 over 12 innings pitched.
