While Sparta's win against Greenville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Spartans skirted past the Yellow Jackets 3-1. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Yellow Jackets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Aubrey Sidlauskas, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Sparta's win bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Greenville, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 15-11 record.

Sparta didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-5 victory against Lowell on the 13th. As for Greenville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 13-3 win against Kenowa Hills on the 13th.
