After losing to LaBrae the last time they met, Garfield decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The G-Men walked away with a 3-1 win over the Vikings on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the G-Men.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-11, 19-25, 25-23.

Mandy Cardinal paced Garfield's offense, picking up 26 kills. Cardinal got some help from Tenley Korosec and her 29 assists. Finally, Cardinal was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

LaBrae's loss came despite strong showings from Khloe Sanderson and Megan Young. Sanderson had 25 digs, while Young had 22 digs. Sanderson has been hot for a while, having posted 13 or more digs the last 13 times she's played.

Garfield's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for LaBrae, their loss dropped their record down to 11-3.
