Baseball Recap: Belton Takes a Loss

After flying high against Lakeland last Friday, Belton came back down to earth. Belton lost 15-7 to the Bolivar Liberators on Saturday. If the Pirates were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to the Liberators when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Belton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. Bolivar has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Belton will challenge Pleasant Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bolivar, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Monett at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
