Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Richton). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Heidelberg Oilers  a   23-0 shutout  on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Rebels, who have now won six contests by 11  runs or more  so far this season.
 Eliza Kelly made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Kelly was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-2. Those  three  runs gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Brayleigh Parker, who  scored three  runs and  stole five bases while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances. Those  five  stolen bases gave  her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cartier Daughdill, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-2.
 Richton  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .900. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
The  victory snapped Richton's losing streak at three games  and leaves them with a 8-8 record. As for Heidelberg,  they are  on  a  16-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
 Richton has  already played their next  match (against Columbia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Heidelberg will be paying especially close attention to the Rebels'  game: after the Rebels faces off against Sacred Heart, they'll take on Heidelberg again  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday.
