Football Recap: Summit Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Summit Academy extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to ten on Saturday, dropping them down to 0-3. They were outmatched by the Freedom Area Bulldogs and fell 43-16. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

As for Freedom Area, they now have a winning record of 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for they.

Kaden Bailey was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 66 yards and one TD, and also picked up 42 receiving yards and one score.

Summit Academy and Freedom Area will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Knights will square off against rival South Side at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Freedom Area is set to take on their familiar foe New Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
