Volleyball Recap: Stephens County Comes Up Short

Stephens County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-13.

Stephens County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Prince Avenue Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-14.

Coincidentally, Stephens County and Prince Avenue Christian will both be playing Franklin County the next time they take the court. The Wolverines will host the Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
