Baseball Recap: Byron-Bergen Has No Trouble Against Webber

Byron-Bergen came out on top against Webber on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run sixth inning. The Bees put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 12-3 win. The contest marked the Bees' most dominant victory of the season.

Gavin Kinkelaar was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Kyle Smith was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Bryson Snell also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
