Basketball Recap: Decatur Eisenhower Comes Up Short at Home Against Peoria

Decatur Eisenhower unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 49-37 to the Peoria Lions on Tuesday. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Looking ahead, Peoria will take on Pasadena in a tournament on Thursday. Decatur Eisenhower will be paying especially close attention to the Lions' matchup: after the Lions face off against the Bulldogs, they'll take on Decatur Eisenhower again at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
