Baseball Recap: Regis Makes It Five in a Row at Home

It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Regis ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 win over the Christ the King Lions. That's two games straight that the Raiders have won by just one run.

Regis' victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two runs across that stretch. As for Christ the King, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Regis will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lions: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
