After a string of three wins, Ionia's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to Byron Center.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-8.

Logan Thomas paced Ionia's offense, picking up six kills. Thomas got some help from Grace Droste and her 13 assists.

Ionia's loss dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Byron Center, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Ionia will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Olivet at 6:00 p.m. As for Byron Center, they will face off against Jenison at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
